World Consumer Protection Day is celebrated worldwide every year on March 15 under the auspices of the United Nations. This day is intended to remind of the importance of respecting the rights of every consumer, as well as the need to raise awareness of citizens about their rights and opportunities.
Basic consumer rights. As a consumer, you have the following rights:
• Receive accurate, complete and timely information about goods and services.
• To purchase products that meet safety standards and are not harmful to your health and property.
• To freely choose goods and services among the available offers, while companies are obliged to ensure the quality of their products.
• To apply for compensation in case of defects, non-compliance with the declared characteristics or violation of the terms of the transaction.
